In data 20 luglio 2015, il nostro governo ha firmato due nuovi accordi multilaterali ai sensi del capitolo 1.5.1 ADR, l’M273 e l’M284, i cui testi sono riportati integralmente in lingua inglese perchè non ancora tradotti:
M273: By derogation from the provisions of subsection 5.2.1.1 ADR gas cylinders marked with a UN number in accordance with the provisions of ADR applicable up to 31 December 2012 and which do not confirm to the requirements of 5.2.1.1 regarding the size of the UN number and of the letters “UN” applicable as from 1 January 2013 may continue to be used until the next periodic inspection.
This agreement shall be valid until 30 June 2019 for carriage on the territories of the ADR Contracting Parties signatory to this Agreement.
L’accordo è relativo a una semplificazione/esenzione per le marcatura di bombole gas ed è valido esclusivamente per i paesi che lo hanno firmato e quindi: Germania, Spagna, Irlanda, Finlandia, Francia, Regno Unito, Svizzera, Portogallo, Austria e Italia.
L’accordo scade il 1 luglio 2019.

M284: This multilateral agreement is seeking an exemption of ADR except for viscous liquids which are also environmentally hazardous, but meet all other criteria in 2.2.3.1.5, are not subject to any other provisions of ADR when they are carried in single or combination packagings containing a net quantity per single or inner packaging of 5 litres or less, provided the packagings meet the general provisions of 4.1.1.1, 4.1.1.2 and 4.1.1.4 to 4.1.1.8.
This derogation is needed to introduce earlier the effect of the agreed adoption at the 46th session of the UN Sub-Committee of Experts for introduction in the 19th edition of the UN Model Regulations and the 2017 edition of ADR/IMDG.
L’accordo M284 è relativo ad una nuova esenzione totale dall’ADR prevista per i liquidi viscosi pericolosi per l’ambiente quando trasportati in recipienti non superiore a 5 litri e anticipa di fatto l’entrata in vigore di una nuova norma, già approvata dall’ONU, facente parte del testo dell’ADR 2017 in vigore dal 1 luglio 2017.
L’accordo scade il 1 gennaio 2017 ed è valido esclusivamente per i paesi che lo hanno firmato e quindi: Germania, Svezia, Regno Unito e Italia.
